Banana Ice Cream

Alton Brown's Five-Ingredient Banana Ice Cream Recipe
ACTIVE TIME: 15 minutes
TOTAL TIME: 10 hours 15 minutes
Yield: 1 quart
The texture and flavor of ripe bananas is often compared to that of ice cream, and yet Americans rarely walk their favorite fruit down that frosty path. Shame.
This five-ingredient recipe is simple, however, it does require some inactive prep time so please do make sure you read the entire recipe in advance.
Feel free to also add peanut butter or chocolate chips. Or both. I don't judge.
Both U.S. standard and metric measurements are listed, but for consistently delicious results, go metric.
This recipe first appeared in Season 7 of Good Eats.
