ACTIVE TIME: 30 minutes
TOTAL TIME: 1 hour 30 minutes
Yield: 10 servings

Procedure

  • Rinse the maraschino cherries in a mesh strainer or colander under cold running water. Lay them out on a few layers of paper towels and pat dry without squishing them. Cut in half and place in a large mixing bowl.
  • Add the pineapple, orange segments, apple, grapes, and coconut to the bowl with the cherries and mix to combine.
  • Combine the heavy cream, sour cream, powdered sugar, lemon juice, and salt in the bowl of a standing mixer with the whisk attachment. Mix on medium-high speed until soft peaks form, 3-4 minutes.
  • Pour the cream mixture over the fruit, add the marshmallows, then fold everything together with a rubber spatula. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
