Spicy Saltine Crackers
Turn dry, bland Saltine crackers into a spicy, flavorful snack with this easy recipe from the Pantry Raid video series. Feel free to use any hot sauce that you prefer.

Yield: 40 crackers
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter or ghee, melted
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard powder
- 1 sleeve Saltine crackers
Heat the oven to 350 degrees F with a rack in the middle.
Whisk together the butter, hot sauce, and mustard powder in a large bowl until smooth. Add the Saltines and then toss with your hands until they've been evenly coated in the sauce.
Spread into an even layer on a half sheet pan. Bake until crisp and browned, about 10 minutes. Let cool completely, then store in airtight containment — or eat right away.
