Eat Your Science: Behind-the-Scenes Photos

It goes like this: I knew I wanted an atom that looked like it was made out of food as the logo for my new tour, Eat Your Science. My prop guy Todd asked, “Why not just make if from food?” I said it was impossible. So he froze peas, drilled them out, cooked spaghetti and dried it on a template. He then strung them together and mounted the resulting electrons and orbits around an actual meatball nucleus on an actual fork. So…Todd proved me wrong.

What is Eat Your Science you say? All-new puppets, songs and entertaining-yet-possibly-hazardous culinary demonstrations. Tickets on sale now: http://bit.ly/EatYourScienceTkts

Love this! It’s why you are my 6 year old’s idol. She is going to be in Chicago at the 2 o’clock show! Any way to get an autograph?

Thanks for the behind the scenes pics & story. I’d like a story about the person who does the wonderful photography for your food posts…maybe an Alton Browncast…hint hint.
