Good Eats

  1. Good Eats DVD sets are hard to come by, as in they’re not sold anywhere. I myself don’t even have the full set.
  2. With that said: All seasons of Good Eats are available for purchase on Amazon Video, Apple iTunes, Google Play and Xbox Video with about half of the seasons/series also available on Vudu.

    Sorry, typo problems with an autocorrect…
    Gluten free flour substitute:
    As an alternative to 1 cup wheat flour use 1/2 cup rice flour and 1/2 cup corn starch, 1 or 2 level teaspoons xanthan gum, and double the leavening called for in the recipe. Just learn to make lots of things from scratch!

    For gluten free all purpose flour substitute you can simply use 1/2 cup rice flour and 1/2 cup cornstarch an 1 or 2 level teaspoons xanthan gum as a binder, then double the leavening called for in the recipe; using garlic he 2 tsp amount of xanthan gum powder for baking recipes . I had to do this for years for my son and his had a gluten intolerance .

    I am a cooking student and my final graduation exam will be the preparation of your gumbo shrimp recipe, I appreciate your knowledge and advice, the point is that I live in Venezuela and I do not have all the ingredients, especially the file powder, for your substitute I am using Ocra (Quimbombo) and a seasoning sachet with bark from a tree called Sasarass (Palo Ato), I wanted to know what you think of the idea.     I frequently watch you Good Eats program and enjoy it very much. I like SPAM very much and would like to see a program dedicated to different cooking methods and preparation of SPAM (sizzle, pork, and, mmm…). Also, I would like to see your program research its contents and debunk some of the myths about SPAM. Especially that it is “mystery meat”. It is my understanding that it is only pork shoulder. I read somewhere that Hawaii is the SPAM capital of the world!

At any rate, a Emeril Lagosse and a family of short white hair blondes are here to harass and stalk and make threats for bows and to get revenge for ruining Emeril Lagossee’s show. I don’t have a tv. I’m homeless. The only tv I see is in restaurants or a hotel room when I have money for one day off the street and not to rest after a long stint of prostitution. I’m not that and not a lesbian.     Glad Good eats will be back with new shows….however… nothing at all wrong with showing reruns since they are so informative , and enjoyable to watch.
