AB Road Eats: Fort Myers

Bennett’s Fresh Roast: Bennett’s has the Ft. Myers doughnut and coffee market cornered…and with good reason.

11: Eleven Cafe: This is the coolest concept we’ve seen on the road in a while. Ready? The items on the their menu are available as a grilled cheese, flatbread, waffle or baked potato. In my opinion you must order Avocado Grilled Cheese and the Buffalo Chicken/Mac and Cheese Baked Potato. If there’s tomato soup on the menu, order that too.

Nice Guy’s Pizza: The carnivore pizza at Nice Guy’s. Well, let’s put it this way. There was a fight on the bus between my crew members as to who would get the last piece. It wasn’t greasy, it wasn’t heavy. It was a great slice.

Love Boat Homemade Ice Cream: I love ice cream. And I loved the Salty Crunch flavor …  it was freaking good.

Cape Coral food is iffy. And no way you could make a whole show about it! Boring hot dogs and sandwich shops for the most part.

One of my favorite Italian restaurants is Ristorante Fabio. This place is owned by a wonderful Italian family, who always put a smile on your face as you are welcomed into their ever growing Italian family. The food is perfect and tiramisu is a must!!! I’ve eaten here for years and it gets better and better every time.
