Cutthroat Kitchen Culinary Team: The Alton Browncast 56

After taping 26 episodes of Cutthroat Kitchen in August and September, I thought it was appropriate to sit down with the culinary team behind Cutthroat Kitchen. They’ll talk about what it’s like on set on a day-to-day basis, as well as brainstorming sabotages and testing them.

I listen to podcasts all day at work and every spare moment I have, so when I found your podcast I listened to all of it in less than 2 days. Where are all of the other episodes? I could only get 10 of them. Thanks so much and my wife and I are obsessed with Good Eats still!!

I like the show but I am often INFURIATED about how you seem to favor certain contestants. Like the black dud that had to eat chocolate – you cut that sabotage short. AND THEN you had the audacity to tell the judge that the lady had no money left!! That must have tainted his decision because her box of candy seemed WAY better. Please stop giving special lifts to some..

Have enjoyed your work having watch a lot of the shows you have been on for years. However, I am upset with Cutthroat Kitchen having chefs buy a sabotage only to later lost it when someone else buys a sabotage to have chefs switch stations. If the first chef had not already spent money they might be willing (or have the money) to bid. It is not fair to take away something someone has bought. Also, having people switch stations is just wrong. Let each person be judge on their own cooking. Switch baskets, yes; but once the cooking starts, there should be no more swapping.

Alton, couldn’t figure out why I wasn’t getting your podcast, last one that iTunes had downloaded was William Shatner. Went on to iTunes Store and figured out that there are two Alton Browncasts and had to subscribe to the other one. Just letting you know in case others have this issue.
