The Ministry of Coffee: Some of Ottawa’s best caffeine can be found here.
Art Is In Bakery: This is simply the place to go for breakfast in Ottawa. I was craving something with egg and bacon. Check. But once I got to the counter, I couldn’t help but try their pastries too.
Supply and Demand: I rarely get to sit down to a meal during the tour. Once I found out we had a day off in Ottawa, I reached out to the fine folks at Edible Ottawa for recommendations. They quickly said Supply and Demand. We demanded. They supplied. A wonderful dinner all-around including the Buzz Lightyear cocktail, a dozen oysters, duck and beef agnolotti and a baked Alaska that could have fed six people.
Murray Street Kitchen: One of the most clever dishes I’ve ever come across, plus best bites on tour was their potato gnocchi salad. I will be trying to re-create this one.
Beaver Tails Pastry: Yeah. I can get on board with this. Imagine fried dough with butter, cinnamon and sugar dusted all over it.
